Pragathi has been one of the pioneers in partnering with Pratham in scaling remedial education in Karnataka. Starting in the year 2010 with the Read India program in selected districts, they were instrumental in bringing Rotary and partnering with them on the Global Grant projects. This started with Math and Kannada, and later stepped into the challenging area of English programs. They have successfully guided its implementation, even during the challenging times of COVID.
The board of Pragathi has partnered with us and have been our constant mentors, supporting to increase our reach and quality, while encouraging to experiment with new ideas in programs.
Currently, Pragathi is sponsoring higher education for over 26 scholars to pursue their chosen field in Engineering and Medical science, covering 100% of their tuition and hostel fee, in addition to providing them mentorship throughout their education.
Rotary Bangalore Yelahanka and Rotary Bangalore West clubs are service organizations whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. These clubs have been partnering with Pratham Mysore for the Global Grant Project (Bengaluru – Mysore corridor) from 2014-2015 to improve basic Literacy and Numeracy among elementary and middle school children.This initiative termed as’ Teach Program’ was rolled out in Bengaluru – Mysore corridor during 2014-2015 to improve basic Literacy and Numeracy among elementary and middle school children. This Humanitarian project picked up schools from Yelahanka (Bangalore Rural), Ramanagara, Mandya, Chamarajanagara District in the state of Karnataka as ASER survey noted that these districts have lesser than the average literacy and numeracy among grades 3 to 7 students.

Under its Corporate Social Responsibility program, Avaya has been supporting Pratham Mysore since 2015, an educational initiative called Bala Vidya – aiming to improve the learning outcomes of children in primary schools
Learning Spaces provides an environment where children work on activities that allows them to collaborate, explore, observe experiment, think, analyze, create, play, and learn in the process. They have the freedom to learn at their pace, with support and encouragement from peers, facilitators and volunteers.
